About Us
Heritage Nudist Club is situated on 25 secluded acres of natural bushland in the Campbelltown area 40 minutes from Sydney Airport. Access to the club is via a fully sealed road close to shopping centres, bus and rail services.
Lovely summer days are filled with rest and play, lots of walks and swims, shooting pool or dancing till late in the night. A great place to soak up the sun on those colder winter days and warm yourself by the fire in the clubhouse or at the bonfire.
Always in our strict club uniform, just the way we like it!
History in brief
The Club was founded in 1949 and has had different rolls in its nudist member’s lifestyle. The remote bushland of yesteryear was a secluded get away for entire Christmas holidays with members in lovingly built galvanised tin huts with all the comforts, the families and couples got away and relaxed in almost seclusion at their own pace. Sports facilities and swimming holes lovingly maintained and used to test the strength and competition level of club and visiting clubs members played a large roll in the clubs activities.
Over the years with the quickening pace of living in the world and ease of coming and going to the grounds the clubs functions and usage became more spread over the whole year and the monthly functions and weekend visits increased as the normal member activities.
With the usual ebb and tide of member and activity levels through the years Heritage is still running and is the oldest established nudist club in Australia*
Features/Facilities
The club sits along the banks of the Georges River, the fresh running water is the perfect place to cool off on those hot summer days.
The kitchen is fully equipped without a stove; however outside in the large covered BBQ area with plenty of seating, there are several wood fires and gas BBQs and pizza oven. We host a monthly function feeding about 25 members.
Other amenities include hot indoor shower, toilets and a cold outdoor shower. Powered caravan and tent sites are also available. There is a bocce/petanque/volleyball court and a pool table in the clubhouse with tv and stereo, CDs, books and DVDs.
Take a walk along one of the scenic bush tracks to river frontage and “The Lookout”; or explore the caves and the old huts that were built in 1956.
Abundant local fauna and flora inhabit the grounds for you to enjoy as you relax. Birds including a lyre bird, goannas and even a koala can be seen around the grounds.
Functions
Functions are held usually on the first weekend of each month all year round. Winter functions are held during the day to make best use of the sun. Winter nights find members dressed suitably sitting around the bonfire admiring the stars in the night sky.
Summer evening functions make some of the best memories, standing around the fire pit enjoying a few drinks with great company engaging in deep or light-hearted conversation.
The functions are coordinated by committee with input from all the members. The calendar of functions is distributed to the members via the monthly newsletter.
Some of the recent functions included:
Fancy dress or “undress” parties, movie nights, swim & spa, soup days, camp ovens, Country and Western nights, Oktoberfest, Halloween, trivia competitions and sports days.
